Niranjan Kunwar

Niranjan Kunwar is a Nepal based writer, educator, and cultural thinker whose work engages deeply with literature, contemporary art, queer studies, and pedagogy. His practice focuses on using storytelling, education, and critical writing as tools to challenge dominant social and cultural narratives.He is the author of the memoir Between Queens and the Cities, where he explores identity, belonging, and lived experience through a personal and reflective lens. His work also includes the English translation of Amar Neupane’s Seto Dharti, further contributing to the accessibility of Nepali literature for wider audiences.Niranjan’s academic and creative interests lie in examining power structures within society and expanding conversations around gender, sexuality, and cultural expression. Through his writing and teaching, he continues to contribute to contemporary discourse in Nepal and beyond.
