Meet Yubraj Gurung, a 21-year-old with a unique journey in the world of dance. Born into a Gorkha regiment family in Telangana, India, Yubraj’s life has been shaped by the rhythms of Bharatnatyam. His journey began at a tender age when he was blessed with the guidance of Guru Shree Venkateswara, who introduced him to the intricate art of Bharatnatyam.
For nearly 15 years, Yubraj has been a dedicated practitioner of this beautiful dance form. Under the expert tutelage of Guru Shree Venkateswara and other esteemed instructors, Yubraj’s passion for Bharatnatyam has flourished. His dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed. He clinched the Talent round at Mr. Teen International 2019, participated in the Asia-Pacific Cultural Festival, and received the Hero Award from Fashion Era.





Beyond performing, Yubraj is a dance choreographer who imparts his knowledge to eager learners. He teaches in various schools across the Kathmandu Valley, including Sanskriti International School and Shree Sanjaya Sair Vidhya Aashram. His students come from diverse backgrounds, spanning different age groups and ethnicities.
